Time for a VOTE!

If you were to watch a movie at home this weekend--or, say, at someone's very small personal gathering--what would you want that movie to be?
Would you watch the first Christmas movie of the season? Or a Thanksgiving-themed flick? Or just an old favorite?
Vote on your choice(s). I've helpfully divided them into categories :-) and linked the ones some may not be as familiar with.

HEARTWARMING CHRISTMAS CLASSICS:
It's a Wonderful Life
White Christmas
Miracle on 34th Street
The Bishop's Wife
Meet me in St. Louis

FUNNY CHRISTMAS CLASSICS:
A Christmas Story
Scrooged

NOMINALLY THANKSGIVING-ISH MOVIES:
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (because the new movie comes out this weekend, is how it's Thanksgiving-ish. A stretch, I know.)

COLLECTION OF HOLIDAY 'TOONS:
A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (to be screened consecutively)

You can vote more than once (write-in candidates are fine!), and we'll have a runoff.

Aww...no 'Mixed Nuts'??

"I'm stuck in the elevatoooooooorrr..."

I don't know if I can do 'It's a Wonderful Life'. The last time I saw it I wept like a baby. Let me think on this.

okay...call me shallow, but I'm voting for consecutive holiday tunes! I dig 'em! A-dub, what a great idea to vote on the entertainment! I'm always so impressed with your cleverness!

Thanks, just copying y'all's voting idea. So what's your vote, Forky? Hmmm, it just occurred to me it's going to be hard to have a runoff with only two people voting. :-)

Hard to say, usually its an old favorite around thanksgiving time, as we wait till thanksgiving is over to do the whole christmas movies and such.

Gray-ham, everybody knows that Thanksgiving is the gateway to Christmas...although Halloween sort of is too. But Thanksgiving REALLY is. And besides, we working class don't get the entire month of December off to start getting into the Christmas spirit. We have to work a little harder at it.
