An even easier way to help

If you're not going to be able to make a shoe box for Operation Christmas Child this year, there is another great way you can help that will take practically no time, yet could make a huge difference to a family in need. Visit the website of Samaritan's Purse and click on their Christmas catalogue. In it, you'll find lots of great Christmas gifts you can buy for hurting people around the world. You don't have to make a huge financial commitment to make a big difference. For instance, only $9 can buy a week's worth of food for an infant, or $10 can buy a starter brood of chicks that can be raised into enough chickens to keep a family supplied with eggs. A $70 gift will buy a goat to provide a family with fresh milk every day. There are lots of things to choose from in all price ranges, and it's a fun and satisfying way to help, since you can choose exactly how your money will be used.

It's so nice to have someone be so pro-active about this! I barely have to do any work!!

Yeah! Although I wish they could make it even easier by letting me off the hook completely.

Between shopping for shoes, buying Festivus gifts at Toys R Us, and wrapping presents, I have ZERO time to throw a toy in a shoebox and wrap it up. Are you kidding?
